About Sebastopol
Sonoma County is located in Northern California, approximately 30 miles North of San Francisco. The county's landscape is extremely diverse, displaying breathtaking views of the oceanside cliffs in Bodega Bay, the towering Redwood forests in Occidental and the sprawling vineyards of Sonoma.
West Sonoma County, in particular, is known for its gourmet food, famous wineries and an incredibly diverse collection of art, music, dance, food and seasonal festivals. It is quite possible that the beauty of the land plays a part in the inspiration of all who live, work, play and visit here.
The West County Film Festival takes place in Sebastopol, located in western Sonoma County. Surrounded by apple orchards and vineyards, Sebastopol is a close and welcoming community that prides itself on its hospitality, culture and diversity.
