Become a Community Partner

The West County Film Society proudly supports local non-profit organizations. The Community Partners program was created with the idea that the film medium has the ability to present unique perspectives, educate the community and challenge assumptions. The potential for this art to inspire is endless, and we believe that giving other organizations the opportunity to further their missions promotes volunteerism, cultural understanding and a spirit of generosity in the community.

Each Community Partner is paired with a film that we believe will attract an audience interested in its cause. They are given the opportunity to co-host a film screening, display information at Sebastopol Cinemas during the festival and discuss available volunteer opportunities with filmmakers, filmgoers and other non-profit groups.

If your local non-profit organization is interested in becoming a Community Partner, please contact us. Community Partners are chosen at the discretion of the West County Film Society, but we will make an effort to honor all requests.
